How to move a decision that isn't yours to make

Two reflexes take over here, and both cost you. Swallow it, call it someone else's decision, and you watch the worse choice land. Push hard on why they're wrong, and it reads as contesting who gets to decide.
Seeing a call go wrong and moving it are different jobs. A flat "this is wrong," on a decision you don't own, lands as second-guessing and moves no one. What moves it is a precise read, offered as something you noticed, that the room could not have written for you.
